You've lost your child, and I've lost mine.
Our grief is renewed at this holiday time.
We set aside the 8th of December, worldwide,
A night we all remember our child who has died.
When the clock strikes the p.m. hour of seven.
Light a candle for your loved one, who now dwells in Heaven.
And know, my friends, you are not alone,
There are candles burning bright in thousands of homes.
Spread this sweet news to your children and others.
For those who have lost their sisters and brothers.
